School of Public Health of Tianjin Medical University has two undergraduate majors which are Preventive Medicine and Health Administration. The specialty of Preventive Medicine focus on the comprehensive development of medical talents who meet the needs of modernization of medical and health in China. The specialty of Health Administration trains students to familiar with medical and health knowledge, master the basic characteristics and operation rules of health management, familiar with relevant laws and be able to manage health care at medical institutions and health administrative departments.

The School of Public Health offer five doctoral program(three years), which are Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences, Child Adolescent and Women's Health and Health Administration Upon completion of a bachelor's degree and eight master programs for postgraduate(three years), which are Epidemiology and Health statistics, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences, Child Adolescent and Women's Health, Health Administration，Health Toxicology，MPH，MAS.

The college attaches great importance to education and teaching reform. In the past three years, 32 educational reform projects have been developed and 21 teaching reform papers have been published. In 2018, a teaching achievements titled construction and application of preventive medicine practice teaching system adapted to the demands of modern society, won the second prize of national teaching achievement and the first prize of Tianjin teaching achievement.
