Chen Yongjie, PhD, the Associate Professor of Department of Statistics, Tianjin Medical University, the Member of Epidemiology Branch of Tianjin Cardiology Institute. The direction of research is the causal inference models in the longitudinal study. Recently, as the project leader, he has a Natural Science Foundation of China. Meanwhile, he has participated in four national projects including the Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Technology R&D Program of China, and so on, as well as one project at ministerial and provincial-level. And there were more than 20 scientific papers to be published. As the first or co-first author as well as corresponding or co-corresponding author, twelve SCI papers have been published, accumulating impact factor more than 40.

Research direction
Study on the causal inference models in the longitudinal study and application in the common chronic diseases of the elder.
