Wang Xuan, Ph.D., associate professor of Department of Nutrition and Food Hygiene, School of Public Health, Tianjin Medical University; secretary of the Party branch of graduate students majoring in Nutrition and Health Care, School of Public Health; Tianjin 131 Talents. The main research direction is the association of nutrition and chronic diseases and its mechanism, especially in nutrition-related metabolic diseases and their pathogenesis. In the past five years, as a project principal or backbone I have completed more than 20 scientific research projects supported by National Natural Science foundation of China, Ministry of National Science and Technique, Natural Science foundation of Tianjin, and so on. In addition, four projects of mine are ongoing. As first author or correspondence author, I have published more than ten SCI papers. And I have won four provincial and ministerial awards.
