We aim to explore the SWI/SNF complex in promoting tumorigenesis by both in vitro and in vivo studies, which may lead to identification of new strategy for cancer therapy . Identify epigenetic alterations in the genome maintenance mechanisms that confers anti-tumor immunity. The tumor development is often accompanied by genome-wide epigenetic abnormality, we aim to investigate the underlying mechanism leading to genomic instability and immunity of tumor.
Discover novel agents targeting the genome maintenance mechanisms by genetic and chemical approaches, we aim to employ systematic large-scale chemical screening and in vivo CRISPR/Cas9 screen as our drug-discovery platforms to identify chemical compounds that target the DNA damage response and repair network.
