Research Interest
1. The application of bridging chiral calix[4]arene catalysts in asymmetrical synthesis of chiral drugs.
Chiral organocatalysts as low-molecular-weight organic molecules are readily available, stable and inexpensive. Bridging chiral calix[4]arenes, which originate from asymmetric substitution on the calix[4]arene methylene bridge, have a potential to grow up as outstanding chiral catalysts and a huge application prospect in chiral drug synthesis.
2. Study on anti rheumatoid arthritis drugs.
The chemical components with anti rheumatoid arthritis activity were isolated, purified and screened from natural origins. Then their action mechanism was studied in vivo and in vitro. Under the guidance of computer-aided drug design, they will be rationally modified to prepare the derivatives with higher activity, and finally obtain drugs for rheumatoid arthritis treatment.
