Linda Baihan Yan, an intern from nova southeastern university, completed her three-month clinical internship in our hospital on April 26.

During the internship, Linda communicated with teachers and students for many times, discussed cases, and made two excellent case reports for graduate students and undergraduate interns.The differences in the treatment of dilated pupils between the United States and China, optometrists in the United States and ophthalmologists in China, and the differences in patients at home and abroad were discussed.

During the internship, Linda worked hard and was eager to help others. She built a deep friendship with the staff and students of our school.When assisting the teachers to complete the clinical work, Linda also communicated with the students enthusiastically. When she encountered something she did not understand in the internship, she humbly asked the students and experienced teachers for advice.

Time flies. The three-month internship was ended. Secretary Wei Ruihua issued Linda with the internship certificate and welcomed her to exchange and study in our school.Although there are differences in the medical environment, treatment methods and concepts at home and abroad, the common goal is to improve the quality of life of patients through treatment. Hope that through communication and learning, we can learn from each other and contribute our own strength to the visual health of patients!
